Day 8

Colazione a Williams e via verso la seconda giornata nel Grand Canyon National Park… oggi la prima sosta la facciamo poco prima dell’ingresso del parco, da Maverick Helicopters

. Check-in, briefing introduttivo, bilancia per il calcolo dei nostri pesi

… e via in pista di decollo. Parte così la nostra prima esperienza in elicottero

Un volo di 30 minuti che ci ha permesso di sorvolare parte del Grand Canyon ed avere visuali e prospettive indescrivibili

Vederlo dall’alto è davvero stupefacente e ti da l’idea di quanto mastodontico sia. Esperienza unica, bellissima e indimenticabile

Rientrati alla base dopo che il nostro pilota donna

ha aggirato un temporale improvviso

) allungando il nostro rientro, riprendiamo la nostra marcia verso il Grand Canyon. Pranziamo al Village perché è da qui che parte il nostro pomeriggio. Un trekking lungo i punti panoramici del Bright Angel Point Trail , costeggiando altre visuali meravigliose in un loop di 7 km

. Stanchi ma felici si va a cena, un altra giornata fantastica è passata ma ce ne aspettano altre meravigliose

Day 8

Breakfast in Williams and off to the second day in the Grand Canyon National Park... today we make the first stop just before the entrance to the park, at Maverick Helicopters

. Check-in, introductory briefing, scales to calculate our weights

... and off to the take-off runway. This is how our first helicopter experience began

A 30-minute flight that allowed us to fly over part of the Grand Canyon and have indescribable views and perspectives

Seeing it from above is truly amazing and gives you the idea of how gigantic it is. Unique, beautiful and unforgettable experience

Having returned to base after our female pilot

circumvented a sudden storm

) extending our return, we resume our march towards the Grand Canyon. We have lunch at the Village because this is where our afternoon starts. A trek along the panoramic points of the Bright Angel Point Trail, alongside other wonderful views in a 7 km loop

. Tired but happy we go to dinner, another fantastic day has passed but we have more wonderful ones ahead
