Un'isola dai contrasti estremi… nasconde alcuni degli scenari naturali più straordinari del pianeta. Vulcani, geyser, ghiacciai, panorami sconfinati, scogliere e iceberg alla deriva

oltre a foche, volpi artiche, balene e megattere, infinite specie di uccelli marini tra cui spicca il magnifico pulcinella di mare, uno dei simboli dell'isola.

Quando si atterra per la prima volta su quest’isola ti si spalanca davanti agli occhi uno scenario “lunare”, con la lava che la fa da padrone ricoperta da muschi e licheni dove lo sguardo si perde

fino all’orizzonte. Questa terra ci ha ospitato ben 9 volte sempre in maniera diversa, soprattutto sempre in pieno inverno, regalandoci esperienze, orizzonti e scenari sempre diversi

:

- Blue Lagoon Island dove perdersi in una delle piscine naturali termali più grande e spettacolari mai visitata;

- L’area geotermica dei Geysir con il famosissimo Stukkur, un geyser attivo che erutta a 20 metri d’altezza

ogni 10 minuti circa;

- la Gullfoss Waterfall , la regina delle cascate Islandesi

, incredibile…

- le tante Summer House dislocate ovunque dove trascorrere giorni in assoluto relax e pace, fornite sempre di Hotpot esterne dove abbiamo trascorso momenti incredibili di giorno e di notte con dei panorami fantastici

- poi Reykjavik , semplice, tranquilla, rilassante…con il suo ritmo lento, silenzioso, quasi surreale… ma allo stesso tempo super moderna e ricca di ogni confort immaginabile

- e poi… poi qui c’è una parte della mia famiglia, mio fratello Paolo Gianfrancesco e mia cognata che danno un valore aggiunto a questa Isola

An island of extreme contrasts… hides some of the most extraordinary natural scenery on the planet. Volcanoes, geysers, glaciers, boundless panoramas, cliffs and drifting icebergs

as well as seals, arctic foxes, whales and humpback whales, infinite species of sea birds among which the magnificent puffin stands out, one of the symbols of the island.

When you land for the first time on this island, a "lunar" scenario opens up before your eyes, with lava reigning supreme covered in moss and lichen where your gaze is lost

until the horizon. This land has hosted us 9 times, always in a different way, especially always in the middle of winter, giving us always different experiences, horizons and scenarios

:

- Blue Lagoon Island where you can get lost in one of the largest and most spectacular natural thermal pools you have ever visited;

- The Geysir geothermal area with the very famous Stukkur, an active geyser that erupts 20 meters high

approximately every 10 minutes;

- the Gullfoss Waterfall, the queen of Icelandic waterfalls

, incredible…

- the many Summer Houses located everywhere where you can spend days in absolute relaxation and peace, always equipped with external Hotpots where we spent incredible moments day and night with fantastic views

- then Reykjavik, simple, quiet, relaxing... with its slow, silent, almost surreal pace... but at the same time super modern and full of every imaginable comfort

- and then... then there is a part of my family here, my brother and my sister-in-law give added value to this Island
