Day 1
Chicago per questo nostro primo giorno ci accoglie con un bel sole ma con -4 gradi (avvertiti -7 per via del vento). Approfittiamo così per poterci dedicare ad uno splendido tour in boat sull’architettura navigando il Chicago river
. Un ora fredda ma spettacolare che ci ha permesso di conoscere parte della storia di questa città ed i continui cambiamenti dell’ architettura di questo splendidi grattacieli, dai primi del 900 ai giorni nostri
Per scaldarci e recuperare qualche caloria per pranzo…scegliamo di fare una lunga ma veloce fila alla Starbucks Reserve Roastery Chicago, la sede più grande al mondo, con cinque piani con altrettante tipologie di degustazioni dolci e salate ed ovviamente una varietà infinita di bevande a base di caffè
Recuperate forze e calore con una bella passeggiata sul Magnificient Mile-N Michigan Ave, ricca di negozi alla moda, arriviamo al 360 CHICAGO, l’Osservatorio al 94° piano del John Hancock Center con piattaforma in vetro sospesa a più di 300 m di altezza
. Qui ci attende anche l’attrazione 360 Tilt , molto adrenalinica, fatta da un blocco di oro vetrate che in tre step si inclinano verso l’esterno. Bellissima esperienza Si rientra in hotel perché le energie permettono qualche tuffo in piscina ai ragazzi e un po’ di relax per noi. Si va così a cena in una tipica steakhouse pianificando come sempre l’uscita del giorno dopo

Chicago for our first day welcomes us with a beautiful sun but with -4 degrees (felt -7 because of the wind). We take advantage of this to be able to dedicate ourselves to a splendid boat tour on the architecture navigating the Chicago river. A cold but spectacular hour that allowed us to learn about part of the history of this city and the continuous changes in the architecture of these splendid skyscrapers, from the early 1900s to the present day To warm up and recover some calories for lunch ... we choose to make a long but quick queue at the Starbucks Reserve Roastery Chicago, the largest location in the world, with five floors with as many types of sweet and savory tastings and obviously an infinite variety of coffee-based drinks Recovered strength and warmth with a nice walk on the Magnificient Mile-N Michigan Ave, full of trendy shops, we arrive at 360 CHICAGO, the Observatory on the 94th floor of the John Hancock Center with a glass platform suspended more than 300 m high. Here the 360 Tilt attraction awaits us, very adrenaline-filled, made of a block of gold glass that tilts outwards in three steps. Beautiful experience So I go back to the hotel because the energy allows the boys to dive into the pool and we can relax a bit. So we go to dinner in a typical steakhouse, planning as always the next day's outing
