… ci dirigiamo verso Ellis Island, per far visita alla Statue of Liberty National Monument 
e al Ellis Island National Museum of Immigration.
La Statua della Libertà, affettuosamente chiamata Lady Liberty,
, è il simbolo della libertà, della speranza e del Sogno Americano
Con i suoi 93 metri di altezza è indubbiamente il simbolo più famoso di New York. La sua celebre frase è: "La libertà illumina il mondo" Purtroppo riusciamo a visitarla solo esternamente e al piedistallo perché la “corona” è ancora chiusa per rifacimento 
Ci dedichiamo così alla visita del vicino Museo dell’immigrazione , sull’isola di Ellis Island. Oltre 12 milioni d’immigrati provenienti da tutte le parti del mondo sono passati su quest'isola con la speranza di una nuova vita in America! Il Museo è dedicato alla storia dell'immigrazione in America, dall'arrivo dei primi immigrati fino ai giorni nostri. Davvero molto interessante. Rientriamo ed essendo in zona ci dedichiamo alla scoperta del Financial District, Manhattan dove giriamo liberi in lungo e in largo godendoci questo quartiere il più possibile: il Bull Wall Street (il toro), Trinity Church, The New York Stock Exchange…

Qui particolarmente stanchi oggi, decidiamo di anticipare la cena e dopo la pizza napoletana ci fiondiamo All'Antico Vinaio NYC, per una focaccia toscana fenomenale.
Proseguiamo la passeggiata per arrivare al 9/11 Memorial Museum Ground Zero, per la visita del Museo Le foto e la storia parlano da sole Saliamo sul One World Trade Center per far visita all’ osservatorio da dove si ha una vista bellissima di Manhattan Passeggiamo sulla 34esima, w 34th st , ricca di negozi, centri commerciali e boutique, fiancheggiamo il Madison Square Garden , mastodontico ed icona dell’ NBA , e piano piano ritorniamo fino a Time Square. Morning "sailing"... we head towards Ellis Island, to visit the Statue of Liberty National Monument and the Ellis Island National Museum of Immigration.The Statue of Liberty, affectionately called Lady Liberty,, is the symbol of freedom, hope and the American Dream With its 93 meters high it is undoubtedly the most famous symbol of New York. His famous phrase is: "Freedom illuminates the world" Unfortunately we can only visit it externally and at the pedestal because the "crown" is still closed for renovation So we dedicate ourselves to visiting the nearby Immigration Museum on the island of Ellis Island. Over 12 million immigrants from all over the world have passed through this island with the hope of a new life in America! The Museum is dedicated to the history of immigration to America, from the arrival of the first immigrants to the present day. Very interesting indeed. We return and being in the area we dedicate ourselves to discovering the Financial District, Manhattan where we wander freely far and wide enjoying these neighborhoods as much as possible: the Bull Wall Street (the bull), Trinity Church, The New York Stock Exchange...

Lunch break at Eataly for an excellent Neapolitan pizza and a spectacular ice cream We continue the walk to get to the 9/11 Memorial Museum Ground Zero, to visit the Museum The photos and history speak for themselves We go up to One World Trade Center to visit the observatory from where you have a beautiful view of Manhattan We walk along 34th, w 34th st , full of shops, shopping centers and boutiques, we pass Madison Square Garden, mammoth and icon of the NBA, and slowly we return up to Times Square. Here we are particularly tired today, we decide to bring forward dinner and after the Neapolitan pizza we head to Antico Vinaio NYC, for a phenomenal Tuscan focaccia.
